Two large actions are being planned for 2020 and in preparation for these several small actions are being proposed in the interim.



Jai Jagat 2020 is a global action in which One Million people will walk for justice.  This is expected to be a global action with people in several countries walking simultaneously on issues of justice. The major portion of this action will be in India. Within India, this can be either decentralized action in 200 district or one million arriving in Delhi on 2nd Oct 2020.

March for peace and justice, Delhi to UN office in Geneva. This can be a group of 30 to 50 people, who are willing to take risk and walk a distance of 6353 km over a period of 15 months. This march will mainly focus on  Peace and Justice and will try to draw the attention of UN bodies towards this agenda.

Committees will nee to be set up in each country. People in each of the countries along the route can walk with us  when we are in that particular country. This action will bring a lot more visibility to the issues of justice and can also take the agenda of nonviolence in to most difficult areas of the world. Many other national and International organizations can also get involved in this action.



International Youth Exchange : We invite 30 young activist from different  part of the world to come to India to visit Ekta Parishad's field area to not only understand our practice of non-violence but also share their own experiences with non-violence and activism.  A large youth camp will be organized as part of this program.  A seminar on the Role of youth in building a Sarvodaya world order will be the main attraction of this international exchange programme.



Exploring women's leadership and its impact in transforming life in rural India. 30 international participants divided into 6 teams will travel through 6 states of India to meet women activists, women's group and various activities run and managed by women.  A seminar on the role of Women's Leadership in Transforming the Society will be organized in Bhopal where they can share their experiences.



 Exploring solidarity economy in rural India. 30 International participants will visit 6 states to learn about different initiatives towards building a non-violent economy. They will then come to Bhopal to participate in a seminar on Social Solidarity Economy for Challenging Rural  Poverty.


Besides the above three programs for international participants, there is a lot happening in Ekta Parishad over  the next one year.


25th Anniversary Celebrations: It has been 25 years since Ekta Parishad was formally formed. A number of programs are being planned for the entire year starting from 2nd October 2014 to October 2015. Watch this space for more details in the coming weeks and months. 


Padyatras (Foot-Marches) and Youth Camps


Through out 2014 - 2020, many youth camps and padyatras (Foot March) are being organized in different parts of India. foot march will be organized in the Saheria belt through Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan


foot march will be organized in Kerala and Tamil Nadu
